Should I buy this RAM?

2GB Corsair DDR2 PC2-5300 (667MHz), 240 Pin, Fully Buffered ECC DIMM , CAS 5-5-5-15 x2 (total of 4GB)

Price: £461.82 (inc P&P)

I have 4 slots but I've been told it's better to use 2 - is this true?

Is that RAM good value for money?

for running dual channel i think only similar ram can be used, yours isnt, i think all 4 slots can be used with dual-channel but the ram needs to be exactly the same

also i think theres no need to buy that ram as ECC memory is really for servers and i dont think a standard desktop board will benefit.....ore even be able to use it really

It's for my PC, so it's gonna run Vista and CS:S.

I don't think there's room in my box, to be honest. I didn't plan on doing any overclocking anyway. Thanks though.
