New setup. feedback
so i put a new pc together to see what the price would be, and to see if the webshops had any of the stuff i wanted.
so this is my list ![]() but instead of that memory i might go with Corsair 2048MB DDR2 6400C4 Twin2X 4-4-4-12 for E235 from another webshop as its about 90 euros cheaper... so what do you think about the list. Have i made a wrong decision anywhere? what i wanted were those round connection cables for the mobo and stuff, like i see in the show your rig off thread, but i dont seem to be able to find them

I might just be dumb but what 3D card are you using in that rig?
Honestly, I dunno but to me, it seems like a kick ass rig... Though a bit expensive nonetheless.Imho, the moniter, get one from dell... Much cheaper for the same price and it's all Samsung components inside anyways

Looks nice.
It should give nice boos in terms of overall performance. But you might get new GFX card too ... |

i thought i'd use my current x800xt till there are some DX10 cards on the market so the prices drop a little... i will use the current soundcard too (audigy 2 zs)
and yea.. if i lived in the US i could build this rig for a lot less... too bad europe (netherlands) is so freaking expensive if you want a little high-end stuff.. i checked the monitors, but all the cheaper dell monitors are 22" widescreen which does 1580x1050. with a pixel pitch of 0.282 mm while the samsung has 21" 1600x1200 at 0.270mm

well....if you game, a widescreen allows you to see more than those with a standard monitor......gives an advantage

Yup, it's also better for movie viewing and in FPS games, that extra screenness is a damn good advantage

is the less resolution not a drawback then... i mean, 1600x1200 is just better then 1650x1050.. or isnt there alot of difference.. also, the pixel pitch is a little higher on those widescreens..
