HD not detected by bios

Just put a new rig together and found that the WD1600AAJS drive don't get recognised by the bios. The damn thing is when i put my brother's WD3200KS on the same sata connector it worked perfectly (also a sata2 drive).

my motherboard is p5b-e plus, any suggestions?
