By their very nature, LCD's are not supposed to generate much actual surface heat. Are you running the thing in some 104 Degree F room or something?

What model, size, type of interface, video hardware, etc?

The more you know, the more you can help.

No,not at all.It's in my basement where I had an office,computer room or dog house{when my wife gets to fussing about all the $$$$ I spend on computer parts}In other words,it's pretty cool down there.I had just installed a new driver on my 8800 rig,got them set-up and ran a 3DMARK06 with NO OCing at all.During the run {especially the last half of the run} I started picking up aritfacts.Then I bumped up the cards slightly and they returned.I didnt run anything else because it was too late...What do U guys think?

It's probably the video cards and not the LCD. You can try reinstalling the driver or trying another one. How hot are they running?
