It looks like there is new software/drivers for the Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse. The details are as follows:
Title: Mouse Software For PC Version: 9.76 build 046 Posted: 03/26/2003 I have used the MX700 since last November when it first came out and I have loved it. No gaming issues for a cordless. The BIG issue was that installing the MouseWare drivers that originally came with the product (and were the official downloads until a few days ago) caused button problems when gaming. Only 2 buttons were functional (left and right). The centre button and the 4 and 5 button on the left side of the mouse were useless. So I have been using the microsoft Windows XP drivers with no problems but it makes the MX700 a 3 button mouse. Only 3 buttons for apps but indeed 3 buttons for gaming. ![]() Can anyone who has installed and used these new drivers with Windows XP provide some feedback? Specifically how well it works in general practice and apps and more specifically and importantly, how well it works gaming and in FPS games. Do you get the use of all 5 buttons? Do you get the use of 3 buttons? Mike.
