Processor Question
Which one do you guys think is better for a machine to run game servers?
Intel Dual Xeon 3.0 Ghz, Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor, or a Dual Core Opteron 244 |

Buy a Xeon because Xeons probably havent hit the Philipine FABs yet, and the new C2D chips from the phil. are sucking out at OCing taking a ton more voltage and whatnot to become stable or reach otherwise easily obtainable clocks from malaysian FAB chips. But of the ones you listed, C2D is the way to go for any of that. |
