do all trinitron monitors have like 2 seams in the picture? I'm looking at desktop and see this faint line at about 1/3 and 2/3 on the screen???? is that just a trinitron monitor or is this one messed?

yeah, I think they all do. The diamontron's also have them. I think it's the tubes, but they're only really visible on bright white.

Yeah those lines are actually wires that stableize the picture. If you shake your monitor, or pound on your desk you can see the screen move. I don't recommend doign this a whole lot.
When I first got my old trinitron I thought it was screwed up too, so don't feel like a fool. They should really have information about those wires documented a lot more. I bet some people have actually taken their monitors back thinking that they were messed up or something. ![]() EDIT - Add After a while you don't even see them. Just weird seing them if you haven't before. |
