I have two 19", one 15", and use an NEC MultiSync E1100+ 21" for my main rig. I got this 21" for a steal at $30 US over two years ago. I'll be very unhappy if/when this thing goes bad.

My wife uses a 17" mitsubishi with a laptop via docking station for her work at home.
I have a 19" Gateway I use on my backup computer and a 15" Micron CRT on the DVR. LCDs are taking over though. All of those moniotors are 6-7 years old.

Still using my trusty Sony 19" Multiscan 400PS. I got it for free a few years back. It weighs a TON but the picture is great. Runs at 1600x1200 at 75Hz (or 70, I can't remember and I'm not dragging my arse off the couch to check). No flicker. No LCD tearing when gaming.

Its honestly quite good.

Saving for a really, really big HD monitor to replace it, though.

hmm.. my orginaly understanding was that the OLED could not only lower power consumption, but produce a BRIGHTER picture while remaining as vibrant.... i thought it was to be the next step up over LCD.

a well...

no hawgs, you are correct.

But every little bit does help in one way or another.. i've be interested to see what the average households across countries or around the world's power consumption has dropped since right around LCDs first came to be and today.
