Problem with playing DVDs on Voodoo3 3000 with TV out

Today I had a problem with playing my first DVD on a computer. When I
tried to play it the "CyberLink PowerDVD XP 4.0" sad: "This copy
protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled."
By that time the "Enable TV out" window in 3dfx tools was not ticked.
Do you know how to disable this function or to play DVDs on such
hardware (Voodoo3 3000 16M with TV out) other way? BIG
THANX for any advice!

Wow, Voodoo 3. I had that exact same card about 3 or so years ago. I never tried playing DVD's on it because the S-Video cable they give you is about 5 inches long. If that.

It's been awhile since I've played a DVD on one of these.

I wonder if it's something with the updated version of PowerDVD??? You might try an older ver. and see if that works.
