USB Polling Rate

I know that it's possible to change the USB Polling Rate to get better mouse performance.

However, if I decide to 'play with' it, what effect might it have on my Joystick...a Saitek X52???

System Specs

Hi

the polling rate on my pc is set to 500mhz and it hasn't had any adverse effects on my sidewinder forcefeedback 2 joystick + i run my printer and a bluetooth network on usb ports which all run fine with no problems.
I can't say i've noticed any performance gains using the sidewinder at that speed as i have the sensitivity set quite high but my mouse performance was a lot smoother.

It's easy enough to change, get a patcher that lets you select it, and try different ones, pick whatever you prefer, don't use anything that doesn't work.
