mame Arcade cabinet motherboard choice?

allright,
i am just building a machine for an arcade cab.
im going to be running widows ME ,very cutdown to around 15 megs.
ive got an Ultimarc Arcadevga card for the output to the monitor but its agp

ive been trying to find a motherboard that supports an ok speed amd
processor(single core - that pitfall man can only run so fast!).
For the processor i was thinking about athlon 64 3800+,
i know its overkill for mame but its under £40.00 gbp.

Anyone any ideas on a good agp athlon board or would i be better running an intel system?

Any amd motherboard will do assuming the 3800 will be a 939 just match it with a s939 board.
