I got this thing about 2 weeks ago. But DAMN I love it. Only paid 75$ for it including shipping. It's probably the best money I could ever spend on a power supply.
Specs: 520w total power 2 intake fans, 1 output fan +3.3V~28.0A +5V~50A +12V~20A +5Vsb~3A -5V~0.5A -12V~0.8A Ten IDE connectors, two floppy connectors, +12V power connector, Aux 3 setting adjustable fan speed: Auto, Low, Medium 50 cm long cables Maybe this is just a huge opinion thing but listen up. I personally don't see the point in buying the Antec or large brand name PSUs. Why? You just don't get performance out of those names brands like you do with this one. The 3.3v and 5v are just amazing. Here's the topper... there is a small potenitiometer inside the PSU.... Why is this good? Hmmm, if your 12v or 5v is running low then you just pop the top, and give it a little twist. To give you an idea... With all my fans and accessories hooked and my rig overclocked my 12v and 5v were at 12.05 and 5.02. So I decided to give it a twist. I twisted the pot just 1/3 of an entire revolution... My voltages then are 12.5 and 5.2! WOW! Amazing. And the 3.3 is still running strong at 3.38. (The pot only controls the 12 and 5). Take this as you want it. I just had to tell you all how much I love this PSU. It just keeps giving and giving. This thread is just to help all you that don't know of this PSU brand. I would like others to experience the features of this PSU. No need to buy the Antecs and name brands for those high prices. This PSU has an adjustable pot.... No need to buy an unadjustable PSU for more money. What a phenomenal piece of hardware! Here is a link to an online store that has one of the lowest prices on this PSU. here

When you have a crap load of fans (6 fans plus the cpu).... And you are running a decent overclock you need more than 400w. I just love the fact that I can crank up the power if needed.
edit: actually, when i wrote this I was just in a nerdy happy mood. Right now at this point of time i'm thinking "why the fu*k did i just type that crap up?" edit 2: 520w would come in handy if you are running some PELTs.... or if you are running a water pump off of the PSU.

True i could understand water cooling.... but im running im running an 1700+ OC'ed to 2100+ with 5 80mm fnas and a huge ass HSF that sounds like a jet and a thernal take ord on my chipset. Then 2 HDD's and 2 opticals....with a dual cathode set up all off a 300 watt PSU....i will post my rails later with the lights and fans off then with them on if i recall there very little change.

Eh, well, my 350w PSU (that I just replaced with this TTGI) did XP2100 -> 2200mhz, 2 sticks of PC3200, 4 fans, and 2 HDs, but that was all it could do.....

What mobo? I couldn't imagine running a 250w and making it. nForce boards require at least 350w.

I doubt you have a 250w. Sheesh my old 250w ran with a A7V133 mobo, 3x256mb ram, ti4200, Tbird 1.3, 2 HDs, 2 fans..... Once I added the Ti4200 to the mix the whole system became unstable.

Re: I love my TTGI 520w Power Suppy!
I just like to remind you of the common over rateing of power supplies
http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20021021/index.html Full Load and Overload - Power Supply Units Pushed to the Limits We've covered this topic before in a rant, and have now decided to tackle this volatile subject with testing of 21 different, high-end power supplies in the THG lab in Munich, Germany. In spite of the high end-user retail prices, our lab technicians were surprised by the test results. No fewer than 6 power supplies struggled under full load: 3 of the candidates simply went up in smoke, while the other 3 shut down prematurely. The "black sheep" among all the test participants was Maxtron, with the TOP-520P4. According to the manufacturer's specifications, this power supply is represented to be capable of withstanding 520 watts - divided up over the corresponding voltage ranges. However, in our test, it ceased working at 446 watts. Completely dead!

Yeah, i've read that review before..... several months ago. They didn't do it on a TTGI psu. I know many people with this PSU. It's all good stuff.

I've heard wonders about the TTGI, good buy, good stuff, I'm thinking of one myself, my 431W Enermax is getting taxed right now.
