More toys...I think I'm a deadman.

"Please! Don't spend ANY more money before our trip to DisneyWorld!", said me wife emphatically....I can SEE her saying it in my head over and over, but the deal just came up and....

I picked up a Maxtor 80Gb 7200 HD over at [H]'s 4-sale board, 'tween that and futuremarks boards I've been finding some killer deals...but I just don't NEED anymore tech toys right now!

Well, 'cept a hard-drive. With the addition of broadband I've found myself having to pick and choose what's on my drives again rather than just keeping everything...and I HATE it!

Besides, I just found all the Buffy's me and the wife missed and told her we'll really be needing one for all the stuff we'll be downloading....if I could find a place to download General Hospital episodes at I'd be able to build meself a SCSI array.

Heh-heh-heh, am I that transparent? It really does work, and with everything we're finding on Emule & bittorrent that we want we really ARE gonna need it.

Besides, she keeps having me rip DVD's for her onto the HD so she can watch 'em later and return 'em before there is a late fee. It's a great system, but at about 6-7Gb a pop for a DVD if she gets a backlog the HDs fill up in a damned hurry! (Not to mention not being able to have everygame I own on my computer!

)

I think she'll be cool about it, part of it was me going nuts with the kids being sick and she knows I go a little bonkers after more than a week locked up with the kids.

Damned sweet deal there, DAMNED sweet! I know I got a good deal, but it wasn't a "bargain" per se...you pretty much stole one from 'em!

I know what you mean. I had 4 DVD's ripped to my HD and they took up about 40gb of space. I probably don't have room on my HD for every game that I have.

Well aside from me actually liking being married and digging my wife so much, if I wasn't married I would have never posted....and if I did you would NOT have wanted to have known me.

My wife did a lot for me, but the biggest was probably believing in me when I didn't even believe in myself. It weird how much that can motivate ya to give living a try, but it really can.

I can't say enough good things about me wife, but the weird thing is that she feels the same way about me. (Ok, maybe it's more of a "great super-fantastic thing" than a "weird thing"...but I've been WAY too huggy-feely lately, all these near medical tragedies lately get me contemplative I reckon.

I'm not saying marriage is for everyone, but this one is definately for me/us!

I know I complain and whine a lot about her, but she really isn't at all as bad as I make her out to be. (Well, 'cept where it comes to me spending cash on computers...it really is a "hot button" of hers. Go figure.

)

Actually I don't think she's gonna mind this one at all. It really IS needed soon, we're getting tight on space all around. The bang-for-buck improvement will definately be worth it.

Nothing. It's sitting right on the shelf over Bubbles where I put it when I couldn't handle it's slow speed anymore and put the GF3 back in...right before I bought the GF4.

I'm converting my friends old PC into a gaming rig for his kids, I'm thinking of tossing it in there and sticking a few good flight sims on it.
