to Chaos and Lowfat i am returning my armor case as i found out the case is somewhat deformed(the add in cards dont align properly with the back) , and getting the Stacker 832 case.
is the fan cage tooless? id rather use screws so i can install the silenX 38mm thick fans.

If I really wanted to crush the prostock. I could pull 4.2ghz on air
and further feed volts into the X1900, but I havent. I wont be having the title for long because I will be going crossfire or SLI of the next gen cards coming out, and using penryn.@kris yes the xeons imo are worth the extra cash. |

4.2 freaken GHz....... ok im definitely sold on the Xeons. the Xeon 3060 is 20 or so dollars above the e6600 and the quadcore is 50 or so......... now thats good info. whats your cooler? i wanted to get the thermalright ultra extreme but its a little big so i may just get the swiftech cooling kit but is the fan side panel capable of handling the thicker 38mm fans? or am i stuck with the standard size?

Not a problem.....
I also found out where the hell the errors were coming from....one of my sticks was born retarded and it errors like crazy by itself. The other are memtesting right now flawlessly, this one took me 6hrs of individual testing between P5B Deluxe and P5K Deluxe with loops of memtest, 1 each for all 10 tests. This freakin stick wont even pass the adress itself test right ![]() But the current settings I listed pang are quite liberal I think, I will tighten em down with these other 3 sticks and see how it performs. But just so you know those settings are fine with the functioning ram ![]() EDIT: To clarify Memory timings: 4-4-4-12 twr-4 trfc-25 twtr-9 trrd-4 trtp-6 Runs rock solid with my working sticks at 2.15v They will boot 2.10v at DDR2 1000 4-4-4-12 but wont pass memtest.... on the other hand with increased voltage the main timings dont respond any better, 4-4-4-10 isnt stable at all, I will try tweaking one of the 3 latencies at 4 down a bit maybe 3, with exception of CAS because cas 3 DDR2 1000 takes 2.45 to boot on this board. Will report more memory findings. Last edited by ChaosMinionX; Jun 11, 2007 at 07:14 AM. |

GeIL Unleashed team has the Intel BadAxe2 with GeIL Ultra Plus DDR2 800 CAS3 2X1GB @ 507MHz (Frequency) FSB : DRAM 2:3 and 4-4-4-4 with only 2.12V and Prime95 (don't mention for how long). i'm confuse what is the DDR2 speed? -- http://www.geilunleashed.com/review.php?id=2

ChaosMinionX, i think, if you like to play with both the DIMM timings and its voltage and try to make it for the better or best, you certainly need to run memtest on each and every time after you made the change to the settings in BIOS and before attempting to load Windows.
i would leave a memtest boot media in its drive and have BIOS boot from this drive first, and then after you change the DIMM's setting, save and exit BIOS setup, then upon next boot up, run a short test to verify your settings, may be just run the test #5 of the memtest86+ 1.65/1.70 for about 5 passes or so (to get the memtest86+ to start the test #5 quick... once the system boots into the memtest... press following keys... C --> 1 --> 3 --> 5 --> Enter --> 0). then if error is found by the memtest, or you like to try a different DIMM voltage or settings, restart the system into BIOS setup... redo a short memtest. and then you can run a more complete and long test at later time. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() EDIT: Took a Dremel to the middle of the front 3 mesh/alu faces in front of the HDD Cage 120mm. Installed a temp C/F probe for inside the case.

I have to say that the Stacker is probably the best case I have ever used
, I will probably never change again, this is all the case I could ever need ![]() The possibilities are endless

especially if you know how to mod..... i mean the 4x side vents are suitablee for any dual processor or quad processor system that would come out! i mean as long as it stays within the ATX-EATX range this is the ultimate case!!! you can probably make air ducts for each individual component from the 4 huge 120mm fans
you can probably mod the bottom to use 2 120mm fans as well..... just need a drill or dremel and you are set!
