The first part of my order arrived earlier today.
Case, much larger than I thought it would be. Which is good, I think.
Memory, nice little package.
Seagate drives. I am pissed off because I thought they would not be OEM/bulk. They come with nothing but a hard plastic case.

There is a further delay with the new monitor though. I canceled the order of the monitor since I didn't want to wait too long, but I am having problem finding anyone that has it in stock...

Well, everything is here. I just created a slipstream xpsp2 and in less than 30 min I will start building the new one.
The time is 01:43 and it is going to be a long night.

And the slipstream sp2 did not work, so I had to install windows xp the traditional way.
Which sucks since you can't have partitions larger than 130GBs. Anyway, PC now works.
Nice to see the boot to windows take less than the time needed to boil an egg.
The monitor...the monitor...my precious!
I played PGR3, Forza2demo, DiRTdemo, Galaga, and in the first three cases it felt like I was inside the car. The monitor is just a couple of centimeters out of the reach of my hand without moving, and I don't remember how many times I lost control of the car for just watching the environment.
What I enjoyed also was playing the xbox 360 while in the PIP I was able to watch the windows installation.
I have it connected to the PC with the HDM-DVI cable and it works great. It is connected to the xbox 360 with VGA (couldn't find my xbox component cables) and after changing the settings to 1080p I changed the monitor scaling options to 1:1. Very small black bars top and bottom and pure bliss.

Haven't installed any PC games yet, but I will keep you informed.
