Keyboard/Mouse Probs

Ok, so I was at my computer and out of nowhere the caplocks seemed to reverse themselves. By this I mean when I had them on, I got lowercase and when I had them off, they were uppercase. I couldn't make periods/commas etc, it was stuck on the alternate part of the key. I also found out my mouse scroll made my browser go back and forth instead of scroll. When i went to the control panel, I couldn't select one thing, instead it just selected everything above the one I wanted. This freaked me out and I restarted. That didn't fix it, when I was back in windows, the same thing was happening. It was only after I shutdown and booted back up did things return to normal. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary before this started happening, but feel as if I'm overlooking something obvious. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like one of the Shift keys was stuck.

Happens to me all the time. Shift keys get stuck far too often.
