Logitech Setpoint Drivers 4.0 for XP

These have been released and as far as I can tell have fixed all the issues with certain game and adjusting the sensitivity during play. It sure is nice to have driver level polling rate adjustment within the GUI.
They did add a freaking Yahoo search bar option during the install but just do not install it and all is well. 63mb for a mouse driver is kinda large also.

hopefully not it will allow my computer to go to sleep. Everytime I install Setpoint on any of my rigs, they will never idle/away/sleep/monitor off. Drives me nuts.

With this 4.00 version I was unable to use the "back" thumb button as "middle button". But 3.30 runs fine here anyway.

Lowfat....thanks for that info. When I saw the the 4.0's were available, I was wondering if they would affect UberOptions. Now I just have to cross my fingers and hope that it works the same with XP x64 too.

mkk...you might want to checkout UberOptions. Great application (free too), that will allow you total freedom in assigning buttons to the Logitech meeses. It made my MX Revolution 2x the mouse it was without it.

Looks like a useful tweaking tool. In 4.00 however there's some hardcoded bug that doesn't impair the assignment itself but rather makes the "back" button always invoke the "back" command together with whichever other command was assigned. Hopefully the next version is not as far away in the making.
