Camera Battery Chargers: OEM vs Generic

Picked up a Casio Exilim 5mp for pretty cheap, Uses a proprietary Li-ion battery so unfortunatly AA's are outta the question, Im in need of a charger.

I can buy a Casio charger for 30-40 dollars depending on where I shop OR I can hit up Trusty Ebay for a generic charger for about $10 shipped.

Ill buy which ever comes more reccomended but Id prefer to spend as little as possible

I bought a generic one for my sister for her Sony something or other. And she says it works pretty good.

Generic chargers generally aren't that good for the battery and over time can deplete the battery's total lifespan. Not to mention the generic ones can take 2x-8x as long to charge (at least in the case of some of the AA NiMH batteries I use)

I'm surprised that, being a proprietary Li-Ion battery, you didn't get a charger or the option of plugging the camera in somewhere to charge it

Its supposed to come with a small docking station where it went, the seller has no idea heh. I went to radio shack and picked up a universal charger charged it in a little over 2 hours, $40 for the charger there.
