Are There Any 24" LCD w/ Glossy Screens? If So Where?

I want to upgrade from my 20" to a 24" LCD and I really like the laptops that have the glossy screens on them! I went to my local BB and they only had a 19" and I can't seem to find one on the net or im not sure what the spec is called for that type of screen? Thanks

Yeah bestbuy has this one on sell this week but, its not a glossy screen the casing is glossy black ive searched around I guess there isn't any out there!

The LG uses a semi glossy panel for its L245-L246 model. Haven't seen it yet in person, but I will over the next few days.

most of Dells panels seem to be glossy....... my dad just ordered the Inspiron 6400 and the screen is shiny.

though i see no useful function to it, glare is annoying, fingerprints are annoying and colors tend to get washed out in bright places....... my 17 inch monitor is glossy and i hate it like i hate the devil

yeah I'm using my latop right now and while I'm typing this I'm trying to get the glare off. Personally, i hate the glossy screen and want to know if there is any product for a laptop to get anti glare put on it. In any case, I've seen some on newegg.com but i stay away from them so i don't know if there are any that are that big. But seriously, is there anything out there that cane cut the glare on this thing?

Well I just ended up buying a Samsung LNT-4065F it has the Super Glossy Screen! Anyone recommend a good dvi to hdmi cable should I get a dvi dual link to hdmi cable? I was looking at larger screen monitors from dell and the 30" was in the $1500 and I ended up getting this Samsung for 1529.99 so I just went for the larger screen and tv option ive seen this tv in the stores and the super glossy screen really makes the picture on this set look amazing thats why I was trying to find one for a monitor but I couldn't find any with the gloss screens so this will be my new monitor now! Thanks for the help out everyone!

Now that I have the LG I was talking about, it has a very very light type of glossy screen. BUT, when I say very light, I mean it.

well there are mixed views on this, you do get more background reflections, however they are really brilliant for viewing movies and the colours are generally more vibrant so im not sure which screen you saw - also playing with colour saturation can cure this. What you seem to be mentioning also sounds more like a gamma issue which you can generally correct in GFX control panels.

My Dell 2010 20inch laptop has a glossy screen and its great, you just need to make sure there are no strong backlights behind you in the room, although ive it hooked up via DVI-HDMI out to a 52inch Sharp 1080P 1920x1080 screen, so I use it as a media player as well as for dual screen for work etc.

well i guess thats true, i remember at frys, the glossy screens were more vibrant than the others. the colors were deeper and richer, but that reflection is what drives me insane.......
