Help with fresh install and a second Hard Drive

Well, I have 2 hard drives. I just reformated the one with Windows on it and its working great right now. But the other hard drive seemed but have a constant low beep on it and I could not read it after the install. I have a ASUS M2N32-SLI delux mother board and I'm conneting both of them with Sata cables. The 'main' hard drive is a 130 gb WD ( says WDC WD3200JD-00KLB0) , and the other one is a 80 gb hell if I know. The larger one seems to be working fine but the not being able to read the other one and the beeping is a little worry some. I'd rather not reformat it because I have all of my WoW stuff on it. But if I need too then I have too. Any info would be great.

Be sure to check the connections on that 2nd HD. The SATA cables are just to easily disconnected IMHO. So, make sure everything is snug tight and try again.

All of the connections are fine, I was just running the system on the one HDD and working great. I pluged the Sata cable into the second HDD and no beeps... Then the power cable and the beeps started again. But I don't understand that one because both HDD's are on the same power cord, have been for a year or so with no problems. I believe I have the extra sata power cable around so I could to each on their on for my power supply. Any now of course I can't find my WoW disks haha... Well I found the BC ones but not the others yet.

Well, good luck. It just may be that they need separate power.

AND, if you haven't done so yet, be sure to install the motherboard/chipset drivers. A lot of people overlook that after a fresh Windows installation.
