Some of the reviews don't show good results, but then again i've never got to touch them,

however, according to the information available on them, for the price, i'd definitely spend the little bit extra to get a z-5500 set... which double as home theater system as well.

I dont understand why anyone wouldn't like these speakers.....pricey?yes.And I guess you pay alot for the name too.But they sure sound good.I would like to se a set of 5.1's.I would sell my set of Klipsch THX's for that.Too bad they dont make those any more....I sold a set I had to GutterPunk & tried to buy them back but he wouldnt sell them.Oh well.....live and learn.

lol..

I guess it all depends, i'd really like to bench them and put them through the tests i like to run to see how they compare to that of the sets i've had...

But imo, the specs listed for them, well, frankly, they just don't seem to meet up with some other sets. Hawgs, have you heard the Z-5500's? I wonder what they would cost in your area....

Yea,there a very nice set also. But for 5.1 sound I kinda liked the Klipsch's better. But it was a close race. And as far as my "area" go's......NOTHING!And I mean NOTHING!I have to travel 70 miles to get to a Best Buy.Thats why FedEx makes lots of stops on Corn Tassel Rd!
