Now to sort though the coolers. I need to check the current thread on them. They are getting so heavy board makers will have to add support for all that weight soon.

Only 2 I will recommend....

Enzotech Ultra-X
Thermalright Ultra-120Extreme

The TR U120X is a huge tower based cooler, and the Enzotech is much shorter as it is a horizontal type cooler (specific classification of that cooler, no idea)...But for quad they are definately the ones to get...I personally use an Ultra-X...but ive seen good things from the U120X

I have to agree... except if I had that cash I'd run SCSI RAID on the sucker to really unleash the potential power.

Sorry to bug you all, but after an hour of searching I have not been able to locate the thread/article about the XEON system mentioned in this thread. I am building a new high end system for multi-threaded number crunching, and I feel due diligence demands that I review the info on the xeon system before I fully commit to a regular quad CPU system such as an overclocked Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz on a Gigabyte P35 DQ6.

Can someone link me to the xeon rig thread/article please?
