Mayday, Mayday need help I think my days are limitted
Ok so just recently my computer has been acting deathly strange I believe I know the problem but i'm sure hoping it's not what I think but here are the symptoms 1) Tower makes a loud click sound while starting only clicks once and only if the system is off it doesn't happen if I hit restart from the OS it happens shortly after the power button is pressed before the bios logo appears it sounds like an A drive when you insert a disk and it begins to read you know that loud clank they make well thats what it sounds like but the only problem with that is that I don't have a floppy drive installed so thats not where it's coming from. 2) it sometimes will click again and only once again just like the first time while i'm already working within the OS and it's never within the same amount of time it may be five, ten, twenty, minutes or not at all but if it does the entire system will lockup and restart with no error message. I won't say what I think it is to see if you may have the same thoughts without just going off what I think. Any info on this is and will be appreciated.
