How often do you use the CD/DVD drive?

After realising that I haven't had my CD/DVD drives data cable connected for months I got curious how often the rest of you really use yours. Go with how you do with your main system at home, or at work/elsewhere if you don't use a computer much at home. In case you're mostly using a unit connected over a network, treat it as if it was part of your main system for this poll.

Every day. Several times per day. Though not always with different discs.

BUT, since for the last year I buy most of my games through Steam, Gamersgate or Matrix Games, the amount is definetely down than previous years.

Drive 1= Almost daily, for Civ IV. The CD doesn't come out of the drive, it's the only game I have which requires the cd to play.

Drive 2= Every couple of days, for a movie.

With the installation of a game/program occuring maybe monthly at most.

In my PC's i never had an optical drive. I have a USB drive that I do use very rarely. They get used to install the OS, then install my games once (then i use a no cd crack for them).

only really to install games after a build, which I then imediately update and patch so I don't need the dvd, and to rip the occasional album if it doesn't pop up on torrents (in most cases I find it quicker and easier to simply download an album than go raking through the house looking for it, then ripping it. we have so many that most live in large cardboard boxes, so it's a pain)
so not very often at all
even my car stereo takes usb and SD, so i don't even burn cd's for the car any more .
