Help with new computer
Description of Problem: About a week and a half ago, i built a new computer. After getting alot of help, i finally got it up and running. However things didnt go so well afterwards. I kept on getting random restarts, and now when i found out about the BSOD, i looked at the errors im getting and i managed to fix all but 2 of them. 1 of them was 0X000000BE and another was related to ati3duag.dll. The first one is driving me nuts while this other one is fairly new. Anyone got any advice for me?

ok, now if you got Catalyst installed goto : start/Programs/Catalyst Control Center/CCC
And then the Catalyst Control Center aka CCC will start. If it asks what mode you want to use select advanced. Now goto Information center and there select Graphics Software. There should be the version number. |

I see. So if you have downloaed them just install them. Make sure that you XP is updated and .Net Framework 2.0 is installed.

0X000000BE is usually a driver error, so I would also go into the device manager and just make sure that none of your hardware has a little yellow symbol with an exclamation mark beside it. If any have then reinstall the drivers for that hardware
If that doesn't help then come back to us...

Download and run MemTest86+ Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool You need to create a bootable CD and let this run for several hours. Preferably, overnight at least. |

Example: Sometimes RAM needs to run at 2T and the motherboard may auto set it to 1T. If the RAM is over-stressed, you can use the Manual settings to loosen the CAS latency settings to take away some of the stress. Example: If the settings are 3-3-3-12, you may want to change them to 4-4-4-15. The higher these numbers are, the less stress is created on the RAM. Good luck and DO update us on your situation. |

to me, personally, the IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL usually means something is up with your memory.at least thats the screen i always got when I was in the process of replacing my failing RAM in an old system. between that and the display drivers on my current build for my 7600GT those are the two times that I've run across that BSOD
