I just wanted to know if anybody knows how to make a windows xp professional bootable DVD+R disc.
I want to create one with the os + some goodies. If someone could help me out it will be very much appreciated.

check
www.bink.nu for instructions on making a bootable windows xp cd it will be pretty much the same for dvd cept you just add directories for the files you want to have on the DVD |

Thanks crash override i just want to make sure it works.
I tried it before and it wouldnt boot up in dos. Something must be changed on the boot file. Or something like that. Please someone help me out if you can.

are you using the 2k boot file on this site or the xpboot.bin file?

HI,
There is a simple way to do this. (but your "goodies" wont be slipstreamed) Basically: 1. Use Alcohol 120% to create an iso image of your existing WinXp cd. 2. Open the Iso with UltraIso which allows you to edit/add/delete files within the Iso. 3. Add your files in any format/ location you need. 4. click Save in UltraIso. 5. Burn the Iso to DVD using Alcohol 120% Restart and your DVD will boot into the XP install. Stu |

just keep everything at default, click Image Making wizard and select .iso on the second screen. It shoud save the iso in My Documents/Alcohol120% Stu |
