Samsung SyncMaster 226bw tearing
This only happens when watching a DVD movie. when watching a DVD movie, it typically happens only when there is alot of fast movement going on. it actually makes the quality less crisp and clear, it's blurry actually.
I have my monitor hooked up via the analog input, not the DVI input, primarily because i'm running a VGA based KVM switch. i'm thinking that is the issue, but i'm not sure. what do you guys think? i'll post screenies if you guys would like .

I think you got it all right, VGA can easily be your problem, try DVI.

Because the A and C series has more problems with blacklight bleeding and tearing then S series.
Same reason why i choose HP w2007, got fed up with Samsung and their lack of quality. |

hmm....that's good to know i guess. but, aside from DVD movies with the tearing, which is probably due to the VGA as stated earlier, i have had no other issues with this particular monitor.

If you have an A panel, I will send you a file to make it look like an S panel.
