Gigabyte Crazy Cool CPU backplate

Couple of questions pls:

How easy is it to remove and can you remove just the backplate from behind the CPU while leaving everything else in place?

Been googling but cannot find anything specific.

Edit: This is for the GA-P35-DS4 which I haven't received yet but is on its way to me from vendor. Thanks guys

this will not answer your question directly. but try searching internet for P35-DQ6 Crazy Cool, P35-DQ6 backplate. you might be able to find part of your answer more faster.
i used to see some says they remove the Crazy Cool backplate completely, but for some, they still don’t want to remove it and find a CPU cooler that will fit with it instead.

is that that odd mobo that has a HS on the bottom? stupid i know but I'm semi curious

Yup!! That's the one. But it means that certain CPU coolers cannot be fitted without it being removed first.
