I just wanted to update and thank everyone for helping me with my problem, I just got my new motherboard a little over a week ago and after a bit of tweaking everything is working great now.

just a fyi.... don't try sticking another HD3850 in there for crossfire while running 8gb of ram....

not until ati fix the drivers to work with more then 4gb of ram ....
