Region coding -1 why?

I was trying to find a way to disable autoplay for my dvd drive and went to the device manager and checked the properties of the drive there, it said Region 1 and 4 changes allowed.
It should be Region 2 and 5 changes. No one else has access and I haven't changed it, I don't even have a DVD region 1 DVD.
Should I be worried?

The players that I have that can play DVDs are:
window media player 11
windows media player classic
VLC
PowerDVD
winamp (I think)

I wouldn't worry about it, it's easy enough to just disable region protection.

One of my drives has region free firmware, the other I didn't even bother setting a region, since my software is all region free.

I can always use VLC to play region free, but why would it change in the first place?

thats a very good question......i haven't ever heard of that happening.....so i guess if there isn't anything wrong with playing anything etc i wouldn't ponder it too hard
