Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

I've been gettin IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL for sometime now on my Asus F3SV-X1 for sometime now and after doing some "google-ing" i found out that it could be my RAM, so i ran some memtest and other things of that nature and my ram failed every test, so i took out one of the sticks and my laptop stopped crashing. however with my laptop running on just 1GB of ram i get these windows errors, the ones that say "Send Error Report" or "Don't Send" with something like Win32 ServerHost... as the title after i click don't send or send it starts up the countdown shutdown thing where my computer shutsdown in 1min. is this due to the ram or GPU driver?

Corsair PC2-5300 2GB 2x1GB, now only using one... ugh ive had nothing but problems with cheap corsair ram...

EDIT: Also, in vista i can't shut down or restart aka, it gets the the "Logging Off..." screen and after it shows "Shutting Down..." but it never shuts down, however in safe mode i am able to shut down...

Did you try the memtest on each RAM module separately as well as together?

together, but ive yet to test it separately which is something i shuld do prob, but ive lost the boot cd...
