Wink Any thoughs of my new computer? See these pictures!

Hi there!

I just got my new PC and I'm very happy with it. Just wanted to share my fun with you and decided to upload some pics =)

Specs:
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz (Will be clocked to at least 3.0 GHz when I have learnt the tricks )
- Tuniq Tower 120 Ultra Silent Rev.2
- ASUS P5N-E SLI
- Corsair TX750 (750W and very quiet!)
- Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX 768 GDDR3
- WD 500 GB SATA3 32MB
- Maxtor 200 GB SATA2 16MB
- Maxtor 200 GB ATA
- NEC DVD +- RW (4x DVD burn enough for me :P)
- Transcend 2 GB DDR2 800 MHz 4CL
- Microsoft Reclusa
- Microsoft SideWinder
- Custom PC case (see the pictures to see!)
- 2 Blue Cathodes
- 2x80mm case fans
- 2x120mm case fans
- Logitech Premium 350 Headset
- 100 x 8" zip ties
- Microsoft Windows XP x64

These all cost me about $2000. What do you think? I have tried playing games:
- UT3 maxed out = average 92 fps (no AA and AF trilinear because they cannot be turned on in XP =( )
- BioShock maxed out = average 73 fps (no AA and AF trilinear for the same reason =( )
- C&C Tiberium Wars maxed out & 4xAA = 30 fps (there's a limit of 30fps...)
- HL Episode 2 maxed out hdr and all plus 8xAA and 16xAF = average 95 fps
- Crysis maxed out no aa = average 22 fps... (but is amazingly playable though!)

And ah, the pictures ;D

I'm very happy except I have two problems to be solved; overclocking seems to not work (yes its because of me lol) and then my keyboard does not work in BIOS and whole PC wont reboot with USB keyboard plugged in =(...

What do you think?

ehh.... 2000 dollars but you couldve gotten alot better stuff for less man...

80mm fans are only obnoxious noise factories that dont move air....

i guess your system does look nice although.....

for that cash you couldve gotten a setup with better memory, dual G92 8800GTS's (the ones that are more powerful than 8800GTXs) and still have money left over. not to mention a better mobo....

Hmm... if I had bought this as a package from local stores I would have had to pay $$$ more, but because I bought wisely I saved those pennies.

I live in Finland, so we need to realise we use € and products cost a lot more in here and if I buy something outside EU I need to pay additional 22% plus potential 3-5% tax charges.

The money was converted from euros to dollars. 1440€ was the price, you can't really get for better price in here...

A PC like mine in stores cost here like 2500-3000€ which you can multiply by 1.45 to get the dollars... =/

if things are more expensive then the 8800GTS wouldve increased price accordingly. must suck to pay a price premium on everything.....

Recent boards have a problem with Razer Keyboards, i had the same issue on a Maximus Extreme which i reported to their guys in Taiwan. Make sure you have the latest bios for the board and failing that contact support and log a concern of your own so they know its a problem on that board too...
