Athlon 64 with it's on chip memory controller...

I got to pondering.... The new 64 bit processors have a memory controller built on the chip. So now with this feature the north bridge now loses much of it's need. Got to thinking.... Higher northbridge voltage yields higher FSB. Will overclocking be less troublesome now without having to pump high voltage into the northbridge as the memory controller is now on the CPU...?

I think it will definitely help. I would say it's one less thing to hold you back

Then again I have no idea how this new stuff works. Hopefully we'll find out soon
