The Zalman 9700 Isnt a bad cooler. But if you wanting to OC i would suggest something a little bigger. Something the tuniq tower 120. Heres a link Newegg.com - Tuniq T-120-LFB 120mm CPU Cooler - Retail its $43 and i have it on my Q6600 B3, and i idle at 35 and load at 55 @ 3.2GHz
Other people might suggest the thermalright Ultra 120, its more expensive and doesnt come with a fan

Little bigger ? Mate this thing is a monster
) I dont think ill have any room left in my case with this ![]() btw according to a review on PCSTATS Zalman 9700LED keeps lower temps at load by 2C and same temps at idle as the Tuniq T 120 and is much smaller .. the review might be wrong but its the only review i found comparing the two. I have a miditower case so im looking for something as small as possible with sufficient performance to cool the OCed Q6600. I think im going with 9700 if there are no more suggestions ![]() Anyway thanks
