Running two monitors / weird

is it possible to run a monitor through your graphics card, and a monitor through your on board graphics card (mobo graphics card). if so, how?

---------------

my grandma is currently using my adapter for my graphics card, so i'm unable to hook it up to my GPU. i looked in device manager > hardward to enable my MOBO GPU, but it isn't there. would this enduce problems? running 1 monitor through a GPU and 1 through your MOBO?

This depends considerably on the motherboard you using... and if it's has a nasty problem or not with running with both itself and an addon card installed..

some machines don't like it... other will work without any problems.

There should be an option in the bios for enabling the onboard graphics...

but if your running 2 monitors... doesn't your current graphics card have 2 monitor outputs? (that would be a better solution)

yes, my graphics card has 2 monitor outputs. but, my grandmother is currently using the adapter i need to stick on the second output. my card is ancient and it needs some weird monitor adapter for the second plugin.
