How much time/money is involved in using cans of compressed air to blowout all the dust bunnies in the typical HSF system? Those cans or air ain't exactly cheap. Yeah, IF things go wrong...however, I've been WC since 2002 when the Exos was first released. In all that time, I've NEVER had a leak/failure. That's running 24/7. The only time my systems get powered off is when I do hardware upgrades. Also, if you are really paranoid, there are coolants available that are non-conductive, and will not cause any problems if you do have a leak. They cost a bit more than the standard coolant, but they do give some people a little extra "peace of mind". In the long run, the only REAL downside to WC is the cost.

for enthusiasts yet it's more practical..
A single good can of compressed air will do just as well to, the costs are likely the same maintenence... but water system definitely require far more handling care and a little bit more difficulty to work with. I find the differences between the 2 are not justifiable for most anyways. it's niche market.
