Hardware overclocking pci-e slot frequency in Bios

Hello

I have an asrock mobo , in the bios i have an option CPU and PCIE overclocking.

Options
1. Auto
2.100 Mhz
3. Sync With Cpu

I have my Cpu over clocked Intel E6600 from 2.2Ghz @2.8 Ghz

Witch of the 3 options should i choose, what is the fastest PCI-E clock?

Video Card Asus 9600GT.

Thanks In advanced

grtz. ZeroOne

Unless you have separate clock speed configuration choices for PCIe x16 and PCIe connections, I would leave it at 100MHz. Otherwise it would effect things like SATA drives and would lead to problems.

It won't actually affect the SATA drives at all on modern chipsets but its still not a great idea to go tweaking it.... you won't see any appreciable gains in performance but you'll likely see more crashing
