Stayed up nice and late last night and got everything up and running. After I got everything updated I couldn't help myself and did some 3dmark06 and got a score of 12425, not bad I guess. That damn heatsink was a real pain to put on though... and had to put the fan pointing up and not out the back. Should be able the same though as there is a top fan pulling air out right above it and the normal fan pulling air out of the back. Those g.Skill pi memory sticks were way too tall

P.S. Holy crap the GTX 280 is a monster, wider then my damn motherboard.

the fan should be able to be moved or reversed if needed, unless there are obstructions, it should work

oh yea.... that 3DMark06 score sounds REAL low....

but everyone says that vantage is better so that would be the better choice.

Now what kind of temperature is good for a Q6600, I'm not at home right now so I can't check but it idles right around 30 I believe and only seems to get up to 43 when I try and do a benchmark or something like that.

those temps sound allright to me. If you want to overclock the sucker make sure it doesn't go over 60 under load..

Yep, was thinking about doing the OC to 3ghz that most people do. Just making sure I don't melt something in the first month of owning it haha.
