Does the cable look like this?
![]() If so it hooks up to any standard 4 pin 12v molex connection from your PSU |

Hi Rokkec,
Please could you post the rest of your hardware spec. Or much easier, as I know you post questions from time to time, is to enter your 'User CP' in the top left corner of the screen and choose 'Edit Your Details' option on the left side under your profile. That way every time you post your full system spec and OS gets posted with it automatically. ![]() < < Your specs will show like my spec does when you hover over 'System Specs' and left click ![]() < Back to your card: Could be you haven't seated the card correctly, the card itself is bad, the PSU is failing or not enough power for all your components, or there is a problem with motherboard. I would definitely power down and reseat the card first as first check and ensure the PCIe retention clip on the board has returned to the correct position. While you are doing this carefully blow out any dust (if there is any dust) from within the PCIe slot. Also double check that you have used the correct PCIe x 16 slot

If you have the same Tagan 480W I used to use it will not have a PCIe connector and you would need an PCIe>Molex adapter. Which PSU model do you have please? Unless the cable that came with the 4850 is an adapter in which case you would plug the one end into the PSU molex's and the other into your 4850.

So my system specs:
Mobo:ASUS P5LD2 SE Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2x2,13 Ghz Graphic Card:Radeon x1600 Pro ;P Memory:2 Gb Corsair 667 Mhz PSU:TG480-U22 480 Watt I forgot to put the cable from the card to my psu molex connector..but first I gotta put the HDD to a lower slot cause the card is so long it doesnt fit because of the HDD..then Ill try and put the wires from the card to the PSU and see the results

A standard one..It is big, but the HDD is setup so it interferes with my graphic card,..the old x1600 pro is half the size of the hd 4850 so I didn`t have any probs..but with this, I have to move the HDD to a lower slot..Do you see any voltage problems using this PSU with the new card?

Your PSU should be okay. Although I'm not sure what else you are running. Like how many things plugged into usb/firewire, hdds, opticals, fans. So I took guess and it should be okay. It might be good to borrow a multimeter from a friend and check your outputs from the PSU just to be safe. If it was lacking due to ageing or anything then it could cause damage to your new card or other components. Your PSU is designed for PCIe although it won't be fully spec'd to current ATI PCIe spec.
Just noticed, the Tagan shipped with it's own shielded PCIe connector so you didnt need the one supplied with 4850.
