??? Best multimedia player?

I reckon most of you are going to vote for windows media player or Winamp.

but after having used them all, my vote goes to Zoomplayer 3 Professional for the sheer power of its options and configurability.

Do you have a link to where that can be found/DL?? I am alway's open to suggestion's of what is good/better/best. I use WMP 9......Real Player 8.......and Quiktime......and a few other's.....all for different stuff as needed.......don't have an opinion of which is best.....but would love to have one that would play all the format's to include DivX.

I like ZoomPlayer for general video files and then media player classic for realplayer/quicktime. I use Foobar2k for audio. Seems to be the best combination of no bloat/lots of features that works for my needs. My advice is to try whatever you find until you discover something you enjoy using and has the features you need.

Winamp 2.x for Audio, and I haven't found something I like to use for Video

EDIT: Just tried Zoomplayer and I like the KISS interface same reason I use Winamp 2.X so nice so Simple makes sense and doesn't take up huge amounts of space for uneeded features

MusicMatch for MP3's

Power DVD for movies

WMP for everything else

I haven't tried any other players because the above seem to serve my purposes just fine. It's the old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" thing.

For Audio:
Winamp 2.91 mostly
Foobar 2000 sometimes, since I hate having to DL plugins for winamp

Video:
WMP for files
PowerDVD for DVDs
Quicktime (when needed)

same here
good ol' WiMP 6.4 still serves me well for videos . . . stuck with winamp2, saw no need to update . . . for DVD, I prefer Intervideo WinDVD

I doubt there's too many people who use just one app for all of audio/video/CD/DVD

Sorry it took me so long to reply I honestly forgot about this thread until now ! (old age).

anyway yes the link to get it Zoomplayer is http://www.inmatrix.com/ here, and there is a free shareware version. I love this piece of software because you can install your ATI MMC etc or powerDVD and set this application up to use the decoders from the apps you like best.

why do this? because simply the interface is so customisable its unreal. the command keys, the interface is second to none. highly recommended and very stable in its newest incarnation.

I bought the pro version. It handles everything you throw at it.
