Upgrade Help

Its time I bought a new GPU and I could do with a little help.

I run a 24'' dell monitor and use my PC pretty much soley for gaming. I have a 8800GT at the moment which as been great but I have narrowed it down to:

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 - Immortal Gaming - Extreme Gaming Hardware

or

XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 1024MB - PV-T98U-ZHF9 - Immortal Gaming - Extreme Gaming Hardware

I have always been a Nvidia user but I read the 4870 is a gret card for the money.

The 4870 is a great card yes. Have you ever used ATI graphics card products before? The reason I ask is that for many people the choices between manufacturer often lie solely with the drivers they prefer.

Both those cards are great, but have you contemplated the 260 GTX? that should be in your shortlist also.
