Low profile graphics card - which is best?

Looking for something for htpc and must be low profile. Any recommendations and input is appreciated

Purpose: To facilitate enhanced gaming performance (if possible) above current IGP.

Spec:
CPU: Intel 2160
Mobo: Q965
Graphics: Intel GMA 3000
RAM: 2 GB DDR2 PC2-6400
Sound: Realtek ALC262 High Definition audio
PSU 240W
XP Pro

low profile limits you right there for "gaming performance." but, you should check out the 8400GS card as it's the perfect card for an HTPC machine

your PSU is a bit on the low side of wattage though. i suggest you upgrade it to at least a 300w PSU or better.

Yeah the 8400GS is about the best I have found too and yes, I knew about the psu. thanks

I'm looking at the options atm as to whether its worthwhile getting a new card & psu (but is the performance worth it) or holding off for a bit until I got the money together to build a new hptc for 150-200 bucks. All I would need is a new board, graphics card and cpu cooler as I've got all the other bits lying around.

AFAIK, the performance of it should be right around that of the 6600GT. but don't take my word on that as i have not seen any official benchmarks or compared the two myself.
