USB has bad partition

Hello guys.

I have a big problem. I bought a USB drive, a 8 Gb Silicon Power drive.
I copied some mp3s on it then plugged it in a mp3 player that supports
usb input.

After I listend to music and plugged it out and then plugged it back in
my pc and clicked on the drive it tells me that the drive is not formated
and that i should format it.

I don't need the files so i did so. But there is an error that tells me that
"Cannot format. The drive is write protected". Still I do not have a
write protect on off button on the drive.

I tried several ways. The Administrative Tools gave the same error and
all other drive formatting tools were the same.

I need my drive back. Could you help me please?
