Partly out of curiousity and partly because I might get a new system, I tried to choose parts from 4 online shops. When I reached the mainboard part I found myself unable to proceed. Many different models from each company and I do mean many.
So, if one wanted to buy a mainboard to use with an Intel quad core CPU, to use probably with a AMD 4870x2, not necessarily crossfire with another same card, and 4+ GB of RAM, which one would you suggest?
One optical drive, perhaps Blu-Ray. 2-4 SATA HDDs.
One with good onboard sound solution too?
WiFi a plus.
eSATA a plus.
Lower price a plus.
But not necessary.
Not going to be overclocked, ever.

A trustworthy PSU too for the above system, and a durable but light PC case ?
