yea you are stupid, lol, i think i even more stupid than you can possibly imagine while i was with an E8200 and boxed Intel cooler back in Jan or Feb or so.

no doubt some of Ballistix PC8500 is very very good, btw, if you like to overclock RAM get yourself a EP45-DS3R if you can, the board is now quite cheap.
as far as i know this board overclock woftdale and especially RAM like mad.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Panging! this is with a lapped Thermalright 120 extreme and this fan: NMB-MAT (Panaflo) 120MM Ultra High Speed Cooling Fan 2750RPM 114.7CFM 45.2DBA 3PIN W/ Sensor

As well as a plethora of other fans in my own home built case. Now a boxed stock intel cooler I have only ever used as a paper weight though so perhaps you have out-stupidded me!!!

Exactly! I like this method too. Well spoken.

...and the latest firmware updates too for drives and other devices.

For instance, I didn't do the F5 'cause the only reported fix was for the chipset raid. In a case like Judas' though (working on someone else's machine) I definitely would have applied it for their sake down the road.

I'm getting bored, and the F6a is out for my board, but no notes...

I KNOW that being stable for too long can get on an overclocker's nerves - weird huh? - not really. Gotta feel that edge...
