Greetings -

I really have tried to search the forum for the information I need but come up null.

The NVidea GeForce 4 chipset driver "nvati.dll" was a problem from beginning to end, and its use ultimately would lead to file corruption and system crashes and would require a fresh install for me at least. Nvidea never did fix this and I still us the Micro$soft drivers for my hard drives.

This has made me really NVidea chipset driver shy. From the vast knowledge out there can you tell me if I can trust NVidea to provide me with chipset drivers which work.

Seems silly to ask, since MoBo's are about 4 generations ahead of my A8n-SLi, but it was an extremely time consuming problem to isolate . . .

And two, what are the alternative to MoBo's with NVidea chipset. The seem ubiquitous.
