Need help with 9600mgt
just bought a new macbook pro and im running window son it throught bootcamp. i had an older macbook pro which ran my screens native resolution fine, now this one has a persistant problem, if i key in my screens native resolution it appears it is too big, meaning the actual desktop extends past my screen and my mouse moves the screen around if you get what im saying.
Is there a fix for this any ideas? the max resolution i can use without it expanding past the screen is 1027 x 768 as opposed to 1280 x 1024 which is native. I have a 19 inch acer screen AL1916, and a macbook pro ruinning the 9600m GT card, i dont know if this is much help but in the vdidia manager my screen is detected not as ACER LCD as on my old laptop but as Digital Dsiplay. thank you in advance. |

Re: Need help with 9600mgt
This has somethign with my KVM switch, if i connect the minidisplay/vga adapter directly to my lcd screen the resolution si fine and dandy, but if i conect the vga/mindisplay adapter to my kvm switch the resolutions conflict.
Here is my kvm switch. Belkin : 2-Port KVM Switch with Audio and Cabling |
