Heatsink question

recently picked up a processor for my younger brother and had a question about the heatsink before i go and go through that whole process. There are 4 metal screws that are holding a square copper plate to the bottom of the heatsink that sit flush with the surface of said copper plate. I was wondering if they were going to cause issues with heat/current/shortage as they will be coming in contact with the processor itself.

Not sure what you mean dude could you post a picture as they say its worth a thousand words!

But if its the stock heat sink that came with the processor there usually are no problems, unless its faulty!

Re: Heatsink question

No worries bud, solved the problem by having to buy a new heatsink and fan anyway, mine was too small to fit the am2 socket :-\ .
