I have good experience with Verbatim and Kodak discs. Not saying they are the best, just that they work without problems for me.

Verbatim rules... ... i've been using them... since forever i guess, i had my first CD-R drive back in 1999, back then they had to be connected to the rig through a SCSI card (which back then was a lifesaver, the drives didn't have their own hardware buffer, so they used the buffer from the SCSI card ). i used all sorts of CD-R discs... Nashua, Verbatim, BASF (EMTEC)... Verbatim discs are definitely the best . all of the discs i have burned back then are still in a readable state...
