DVD dual layer problem ??!!

Hello there

I have an LG DVD-RAM drive but it can't read some dual layer dvd (sometimes it read after I keep pressing the eject button for seconds) , although the other RAM read it normally with no problem , There is no scratches on the DVD neither.

So Is there any solution might help ? or it is a normal life time (I wrote about 200 DVD on it).

The DVD still read & write single layer dvds.

typically all movie dvds and the like are dual layer....(over 8gb).....

so if your dvd drive can read all those fine... but not read burnt dual layer dvds.... it could potentially be a sudden unsupported media type.

but considering, it could also be dieing to....

Could the problem be from the writing speed ??
